I Was a Runaway Child
Feb 05, 2020Life seemed simpler when I was a child. And yet, I did run away once. It was before I was in kindergarten and it was only around the block, but I did run away.
The youth who we hear about in the news are not running away because of little disagreements with their parents. They are escaping the pain and trauma that is their life in hopes of finding peace. But, most only find more pain and trauma at the hands of people they meet while homeless.
